Dogs & Cats
Enable yourself with life-saving skills in times of critical need.
The first words you'll learn to exclaim when seeing an unconscious canine or feline are, "Doggie, doggie, are you okay?!" or "Kitty, kitty, are you okay?!"
These essentials words are the start of a timely intervention that will greatly increase chances of survival for pets.
Imagine walking Fido in the park when it suddenly got curious and choked on a discarded chicken bone before going unconscious. Maybe the 'over-friendly dog' had a squabble with the cat, and Fifi sustained an arterial bleeding on her limb which wouldn’t stop. Sure, we can always make a best effort to rush to the vet but there is only a small window of opportunity for intervention before we see irreversible effects on our beloved pet.
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) published that 1-out-of-4 more pets would survive, if just one pet first aid technique was applied prior to getting emergency veterinary care. The reality is that sometimes the unexpected happens.
Will you be prepared to act when it does?
